Poster Session Instructions

Participation

CUWiP is a perfect opportunity to showcase research from you or your PI to a group of likeminded physicists. If you’ve never done a poster presentation before, CUWiP is a great place to start. You’ll be in a supportive environment with industry and academic professionals who cannot wait to help you improve. Even if you’ve done more poster presentations than you can count on two hands, there’s always more to learn, especially with the wide variety of physics disciplines represented at our CUWiP site.

Guidelines

The Tulane CUWiP poster session will be held Saturday, January 21st, from 3-5 PM, concurrent with the CUWiP Career Fair.

Please indicate on your registration if you would like to present a poster on your current research or project.

Poster presenters will be free to attend the Career Fair or other concurrent events but should indicate on their registration a window during which they will attend their poster.

Maximum poster size is 48” W x 36” H.

Attendees are responsible for bringing their own poster or having them printed out locally. Many local printing options can be found here.

We encourage presenters to include a small statement about the application of their research. For presenters who are interested in industry work, this is a wonderful introduction to the process of research and development (R&D).
